Companies And Their Placement Patterns

Any responsible and digging feet company is always curious to find best suitable employees for their organization. They search for those individuals who are best fit for their organizational goals and who possess strong career insights. So, to get the employees every company conducts interviews in its own pattern with an aim to assess the capabilities in depth.

But do note – Even if the pattern changes the syllabus remains same for most of the companies with minor changes in depth of subject

Generally, IT companies have 3-5 rounds

  • First Round (Written Test)
    • Either MCQ format / Coding format / Both together Here They check for Technical(C,Java,Web Technologies,Data Base Languages,OS,Networking,Algorithms) & Cognitive(Aptitude,Reasoning,Grammar)
  • Second Round(Might be Group Discussion / Pure Coding)
    • If GD, discussions on latest Current Affairs or General Topics can be expected. Note – GD is conducted to check your communication and confidence. So always advisable to be the pioneer of session.
    • If Pure Coding, 2 questions can be expected and preparation of Data Structures can help here.
  • Third Round ( Technical Round Interview )
    • Questions will be asked based on the technologies included in your resume.
    • Preferable to go into TR by completing Technology based individual TR questions.
    • Also do try to understand the company requirements before entering TR Round
  • Fourth Round ( Human Resource Interview )
    • A general round to assess your attitude and goal perspectives
    • The first few questions will always be the game changers, so prepare structured answers for anticipated questions before going in.
    • Remain Confident and be Humble.
  • CEO Round
    • A general discussion with CEO if the company is a start up.

The above interview structure changes between one company to another, but the essence remains the same.
